At Tillie J Wines, we take care to ensure your wine is packed well and gets to you in perfect condition. This policy covers everything you need to know about how we ship, where we deliver, and what to do if something goes wrong.

Where We Ship
We ship to addresses within Australia only. We do not currently offer standard international shipping. If you are located outside Australia and would like to place an order, please contact us directly at tillie@tilliejwines.com.au to discuss options.
Due to liquor licensing requirements, we may be unable to deliver to certain regions or territories. If we are unable to fulfil your order to your location, we will contact you promptly.

Dispatch Location
All orders are picked and packed from our premises in Hoddles Creek, Victoria, in accordance with our liquor licence.

Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated based on your delivery address and the weight of your order. Rates will be clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase.
Please note that our minimum postage rate applies to orders of up to six (6) bottles. Orders of fewer than six bottles are charged at the same rate as a six-bottle order.

Express Shipping
We do not currently offer express shipping. All orders are sent via Australia Post standard parcel service. If you have an urgent order, please contact us at tillie@tilliejwines.com.au and we will do our best to assist.

Local Delivery
We do not offer local delivery at this time. All orders must be placed through our online store and will be dispatched via Australia Post.

Processing and Dispatch
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment being confirmed. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
During peak periods, such as public holidays, new release events, or seasonal promotions, processing times may be slightly longer. We appreciate your patience.

Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Once dispatched, estimated delivery timeframes via Australia Post are:
•      Metropolitan areas: 2–5 business days.
•      Regional and rural areas: 5–10 business days.
These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier capacity, weather events, or other circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by Australia Post or other third-party carriers.

Signature on Delivery
As we are shipping alcohol, a signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, Australia Post will leave a card and your parcel will be redirected to your nearest post office or collection point for pickup.
Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery, or that you have made arrangements directly with Australia Post for an alternative delivery option.

Age Verification
In accordance with Australian liquor laws, all wine deliveries require a recipient who is 18 years of age or older. The carrier may request proof of age at the time of delivery. If no eligible person is available to accept the delivery, the parcel will not be left unattended.

Temperature and Safe Handling
We pack all orders carefully to minimise the risk of damage in transit. However, we recommend avoiding placing orders during periods of extreme heat if you have concerns about temperature sensitivity, particularly for delicate, aged, or unfiltered wines.
If you have specific handling or storage requirements, please get in touch before placing your order.

Damaged or Lost Deliveries
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If any bottles have been damaged in transit, please refer to our Breakage Replacement clause in our Refunds & Returns Policy and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs.
If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at tillie@tilliejwines.com.au and we will follow up with Australia Post on your behalf.

Returns Address
Please note that all returns must be directed to our returns address in Kilsyth, Victoria, not our dispatch facility. Full return instructions will be provided when your return is approved. Please do not send items back without first contacting us.

Tracking Your Order
A tracking number will be included in your dispatch confirmation email. You can use this to monitor your delivery via the Australia Post website at auspost.com.au.
